Lamstan Ladakh Chapter

In 2012 Lamstan initiated its first career counselling seminar in ladakh. In general, the seminars might have given them a little idea about the courses they wish to pursue and it has also given us wonderful chance to interact with students & even reminded us of our golden school days. Through a network of hundreds of students & hierarchy of guidance thenceforth on our website, "Lamstan" will serve as a beacon of light in this competitive arena. Together we can bring some change & can aspire for more cheerful world...!

Kharu Block (Govt. Schools)

The first seminar we did in govt. school in kharu block where many students from changthang,sakti, chushul,ego and other places came for sports meet. With the kind permission of Mr Thuptan Rigzin(ZEO). We demonstrated students through various charts prepared by our members. As projectors are hardly available in any govt. school in ladakh.

Lamdon Model Sen. Sec. School

Next we scheduled our seminar at Lamdon School with kind permission of Mr Eshay Tundup (Principal ). But very fortunately Mr. Tsewang Gyaltsan (Indian Forest Service ) and Mrs. Padma Tsomo (Gold medallist in MA Buddhism in DU) accepted our invitation to interact with students.At the same time Mr. Stanzin Palkit(MBBS) and Mr. Stanzin Yangzes (MBBS ,PG) ex-students of lamdon were also present.

Mahabodhi Residential School

Interaction with students of Mahabodhi was very frank. They were very much bed towards spiritual world.

Govt. Girls School

As the women education and empowerment has been very important . Comparing to rest of India ladakhi girls are unbiased. They do enjoy every freedom and have always proved top in examinations.

Govt. Boys School

Students came up with wonderful questions, their concerns, their interests ,& above all ,the glimmer in their eyes to achieve something in life was indeed vibrant.

Moravian Mission School

Introducing in detail of various courses from medical, non-medical, commerce, to arts & also rendered moral education about the need of responsibility in this century.
